Natalie has over 20 years’ experience in financial services, specialising in agricultural and business asset finance.

Before joining Allan James Financial Services Ltd in 2008, Natalie spent three years working for a funder within the agricultural finance sector. This gave her valuable experience from the lender’s side of the industry and a strong understanding of how finance applications are assessed and structured.

Natalie became a Director when Allan James Financial Services Ltd was incorporated in 2012 and has since built long-standing relationships with customers, suppliers and our panel of funders.

Known for her friendly and efficient approach, Natalie works closely with customers to understand what they need and helps arrange finance solutions tailored to their business.

Allan is the founder of Allan James Financial Services Ltd and has over 40 years’ experience within the agricultural industry, alongside more than 20 years specialising in agricultural and business asset finance.

Where it all began

Allan began his career in the agricultural industry in 1982, working at a busy agricultural dealership. By 1995, he had progressed to Dealer Principal, a position he held until 2001 when he moved into agricultural finance as an Area Manager for a corporate finance company.

In 2006, Allan used his experience and established relationships within the industry to launch his own finance brokerage, Allan James Financial Services Ltd.

The business was incorporated in 2012 and has continued to grow while remaining proudly family-run. In 2023, another major milestone was reached with the completion of Brookhay Meadows, the new home of Allan James Financial Services Ltd.

Today, Allan continues to work closely with customers, suppliers and funders, bringing decades of agricultural knowledge and finance experience to the business he founded.

Ashley has over 13 years’ experience in agricultural and business asset finance, having joined Allan James Financial Services Ltd in 2013.

Before joining the family business, Ashley spent eight years working in commercial vehicle sales alongside his college and university studies. This gave him valuable sales experience and a strong understanding of the commercial vehicle industry before moving into asset finance.

Since joining Allan James Financial Services Ltd, Ashley has built long-standing relationships with customers, suppliers and our panel of funders, developing a wealth of knowledge across agricultural and business finance.

With a friendly and straightforward approach, Ashley works closely with customers to understand their requirements and help arrange finance solutions tailored to their business.

Sophie joined Allan James Financial Services Ltd in 2022 as Administrative Director, bringing over 10 years’ experience in administration to the family business.

With a background in HR, administration and accounting, Sophie oversees the day-to-day administrative side of the business, helping to ensure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.

Alongside her administrative responsibilities, Sophie manages the company’s marketing and social media, helping to develop the Allan James Financial Services Ltd brand and showcase the wide range of finance solutions available to UK businesses.

Sophie works closely with the rest of the team to support customers, suppliers and funders throughout the finance process and keep the business running efficiently.

John joined Allan James Financial Services Ltd as Sales Director in 2024, bringing with him extensive experience in engineering and team management.

Since joining the business, John has developed a strong understanding of agricultural and business asset finance and has built excellent relationships with customers, suppliers and our panel of funders.

His previous experience gives him a practical understanding of businesses, equipment and the importance of finding the right funding solution for each purchase.

John is known for his friendly, straightforward approach and works closely with customers to understand their requirements and help arrange finance tailored to their business.
